MENGES AWARD RECIPIENT. This poster will present the implementation and outcomes of a hybrid, multi-institutional workshop series about course design for graduate students and postdoctoral scholars. Trainees developed college courses based on their research expertise, posted works-in-progress online for peer review, and met weekly with facilitators at their home institutions. We will present results demonstrating that this workshop is effective for teaching course design and establishing networks between trainees and leaders at distant institutions. We will also share best practices for running such a course with local groups.The multi-institutional design led to additional benefits, including a rich, collaborative community for institutional leaders.
